About me

I'm Tom Bouwman, based in Denver. I've spent nearly two decades helping organizations adopt complex technology as a solutions architect and sales engineer, and for the last three years I've worked with AI full time, as a builder first and an advisor today.

The enterprise years meant running discovery, whiteboarding options, and designing systems for everyone from five-person IT shops to Fortune 100 boardrooms, and just as often, getting finance, security, operations, and IT to agree on one answer. The projects ran from hospital data centers to trading-floor storage bake-offs.

Throughout every project, the hard part is rarely the technology. It's aligning priorities, getting buy-in from stakeholders who want different things, and helping people adopt what's new. The models get better every quarter, but the gap between what's possible and what teams use keeps growing. That gap is where I work.

I started Movemnt.AI because most companies don't need a full-time AI hire yet, or a six-figure consulting SOW. They need someone who knows their business, sits with their teams, and is there to ask a few times a month as the landscape shifts underneath them. That's what this is.

When I'm not working, you'll find me camping, hiking Colorado trails, playing volleyball at Wash Park, or on a sunny patio with a cold beer.
