About me

I'm Tom Bouwman, based in Denver. I've spent the last few years consulting on AI for small businesses and non-profits — training teams, building automations and AI agents, and being the go-to person when clients run into roadblocks or questions.

Before that, I spent 15 years in pre-sales engineering at Dell and other enterprise technology firms, explaining complex systems to everyone from five-person shops to Fortune 100 boardrooms. The job was translation: taking complicated technology and making it make sense to the people who had to pay for it and live with it. That's still the job.

In between, I spent two years as an independent builder and launched roughly 24 ventures solo — automated e-commerce stores, a mobile app, self-writing content systems, nine physical products. Most of them didn't make it, which is part of the value: I've already made the expensive mistakes, on my own dime.

I started Movemnt because most small teams don't need a full-time AI hire or an agency retainer. They need an expert they can grab for an hour when something breaks, when a tool decision comes up, or when they want to move faster. That's what this is.
